“WE WILL NOT SACRIFICE ANY SINGLE SON OF THIS COUNTRY TO ANY FOCUS SEEKING TO ENTRAP OUR YOUTH”

9/25/2020 Pointing out that they are committed and decided to offer all sorts of opportunities to the beloved sons and valuable youth of this country, no matter where they are in Turkey, Dr. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu, Minister of Youth and Sports said, “We will not sacrifice even any single son of this country to any focus seeking to entrap our youth in various issues.” 

Minister Kasapoglu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Kucukkoy Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool to be built in Gaziosmanpasa, Istanbul.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Minister Kasapoglu wished good luck with the facilities and continued, “Turkey is performing a remarkable development and transformation. In the last 18 years, under the leadership of our President, there has been a transformation and a revolution in all areas of our country, including the industry, education, transportation, economy, health and sports. We are particularly proud of Gaziosmanpasa which always stands by this deserving case. I would like to express that we will always support Gaziosmanpasa with all our means.”

Reminding that he examined the facilities and came together with the youth in Giresun yesterday, Minister Kasapoglu added, “Giresun has suffered a major disaster recently. Thank God, we observed that the wounds were bound up with all the means of our country. This is a source of pride. Because when we remember the incapacity of the country, the governments in the disasters in the past. Thank God, we see that this country is at the service of its nation with all its means, in unity and jointly, all together.”

Noting that they attach great importance to swimming, Minister Kasapoglu stated:

“Swimming is a must for health, both socially, mentally and physically. This country owns enormous water resources. This country owns pools that have been built within the last 18 years. We continue to establish facilities in every field. We are committed and decided to offer all sorts of opportunities to the beloved sons and valuable teenagers, potential youth of this country, no matter where they are in Turkey. I hope we will prepare the youth of this country for the future, in the most powerful way possible. We will not sacrifice even any single son of this country to any focus seeking to entrap our youth in various issues.”

Underlining that they have faith and trust in the teenagers, Minister Kasapoglu mentioned, “We truly love our youth from the heart. Some develop a discourse, with smoke and mirrors, in form. We put forward with every action of ours that Empty Words Will Not Fill an Empty Stomach. No one will come between us and the youth and the athletes as nobody could ever manage to do so far.”

Stating that the year 2019 has been a very successful one in terms of sports, Minister Kasapoglu said, “We will continue to further cement performance together. Our aim is to bring our people together with sports. To ensure access to the sports in the most powerful way.”

Besides, Hasan Tahsin Usta, the Mayor of Gaziosmanpasa gave some information about their activities they carry out and told that they plan to complete the Kucukkoy Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool, which will be equipped with modern units and features, by February 2021.

 

Following the speeches, Minister Kasapoglu and protocol members pressed the button to pour concrete into the foundation.
