Our effort today is to make Yalova, its towns, districts, villages and people more prosperous. One by one, we will conclude the projects we have worked on in our previous visits. God willing, we will see each of them shine like a pearl in Yalova. As a country, we have a young population. With more than 20 million young people, Turkey is one of the countries with the youngest population in Europe. Our young ones are our greatest hope, means and assets. It is our responsibility and our motivator to produce for them and to raise them to be better equipped for the future as the managers, business people, scientists, mothers and fathers of tomorrow”.
“Our sports infrastructure has significantly evolved for the better in 18 years with our President’s understanding that values sports and athletes”
Emphasizing that they would improve the sports infrastructure and make it better than it is today, Minister Kasapoğlu said, “Our sports infrastructure has significantly evolved and improved in 18 years with our President’s understanding that values sports and athletes”.

Yalova Municipality is excited to have evolved for the better in a very short time with the Justice and Development Party’s belief in serving the people and with administrators that serve without stopping or getting tired. And we are telling you that we stand by Yalova Municipality and town municipalities just as we stand by all our local governments. The current protocol is proof that the Ministry of Youth and Sports stands by all local governments”.
Pointing out to the fact that Yalova is also a city of tourism, Minister Kasapoğlu said:
“The facilities we have today and many more sports halls and district fields, tennis and volleyball courts we will build… and of course, the basketball courts… We will build 100 basketball hoops in Yalova as part of our project ’10 thousand basketball hoops’. We are hopeful of Yalova in terms of raising new giant men. Swimming is one of the projects that are most important to us. Despite the pandemic, we have surpassed the target of 1 million people we set last year for our project ‘Everybody will learn swimming’. We look forward to seeing anyone who wants to learn swimming at our pools this year, too. We are bringing lots of facilities to Yalova. I would like to put special emphasis on one of them. I would like to state that, considering Yalova is a city of sea with wealth of water and tourism potential, the water sports facility we will bring to Yalova will be a significant and strategic facility for both Yalova and our country. I would also like to state that the entire sports community should see Yalova as an important sports destination and center”.
